广西千方药业有限公司的前身为原国营企业——广西桂北制药厂，建厂于 1988 年，已有 15 年的药品生产和质量管理经验，有成熟的生产工艺技术， 2002 年 6 月，经资产重组，改制为民营股份制企业，并更名为广西千方药业有限公司。经区药品监督管理局批准，原属广西桂北药厂的品种全部转由更名后的广西千方药业有限公司生产，拥有片剂、胶囊剂、颗粒剂、糖浆剂、酒剂、外用酊剂等六个剂型 34 个品种，以中药制剂为主。
